B.Tech Programmes
B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has started in the year 2020 with an intake of 60 students per batch.
B.Tech programme is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU).
Data Science Lab
The lab is well equipped with 33 computers that facilitate to train students about data science. This lab is used for different programming languages.

Computer Research Lab
The lab is well equipped with 30 computers that facilitate to train students about data science. This lab is mainly used by students for their advanced programming lab such as Java programming and DBMS.

CRESCENT is the association of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Through “AI Industry success stories and new trends” gives an opportunities and exposure for the young minds of the department to the tech world through different events. Crescent is run by the student coordinators under the guidance of faculty members from the department.
2023-24
The association activities for the year 2023-24 was inaugurated by Mr. Kelwin Kuriachan, Digital Innovation Leader (IBS Software) on 20 th November 2023 and had a talk on “Application of AI in Travel and Logistics”. Newsletter, updated association name ie. “Aeonix” and logo were released.
2022-23
In association with NDLI Club and AD department was inaugurated by Mr. Linil Paul, Senior Project Manager, Mindtree ( LTIMindtree ) on 6th January 2023 and a technical talk “Importance of Soft Skills in IT Industry” was arranged.
2021-22
The association activities for the year was inaugurated by Mr. Asif Salim, Research Scientist, Subex on 11th February 2022 in a live Google Meet Platform, and a talk “ Introduction to AI and Career Scopes” was arranged.
2020-21
The association activities for the year was inaugurated by Mr. Unus Ebrahim, Senior Architect in Accenture on 16th March, 2021, and a talk on “ AI- Industry Success stories and new trends” was conducted. Along that Mind Fizz Quiz and many other events were conducted.
