Viswajyothi has a central computing facility named as Common Computing Centre (CCC) functioning from 8AM to 8PM. The campus is having two internet leased lines 300 and 100 Mbps each. Students can access Internet and download relevant study materials and can procure hard copies of the study materials with the assistance of staff at any time. The center is fully air conditioned and well-equipped with an uninterrupted power supply.
NETWORK ARCHITECTURE & INTERNET FACILITY
We have 963 computers and 8 MNC servers in the campus and all of these are connected across a single LAN. All the computers are in same domain and hence staff and students can access their data at any lab/Staff Room at any time during working hours. Our servers are 24 hours working throughout the year. We have a centralized administration point called server room from where all the locations are connected via fiber optic back bone cable. All the operations are monitored and controlled from the server room.
WI-FI CAMPUS
Viswajyothi is Wi-Fi enabled campus with its access is centrally controlled by a Wi-Fi Manager switch. Administrative block, Digital Library, College Cafeteria, Departments including PG section and both Gents and Ladies Hostel are Wi-Fi areas.
